TLC Live Chat lets visitors send messages from your website chat widget. You and your Telegram administrators receive those messages in Telegram and can reply there.

External Services
This plugin uses the Telegram Bot API to connect your bot, configure its webhook, send website chat messages to paired administrators, and receive their replies and pairing requests.
When a visitor sends a message, the plugin sends the message, its conversation ID, and (when available) the page URL to Telegram. Telegram sends administrator replies and Telegram account details to the plugin’s webhook so the plugin can identify the administrator and conversation.
These services are provided by Telegram and are subject to Telegram’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Privacy
The plugin stores conversations and messages in your WordPress database. It uses a visitor ID stored in the visitor’s browser to associate messages with a chat. The visitor’s IP address may be processed temporarily to limit abuse; it is not sent to Telegram.
The Telegram bot token is stored in the WordPress database and sent to Telegram to authenticate Bot API requests. Website chat messages and the page URL may be sent to the Telegram administrators as described above.

Installation
Install and activate the plugin from Plugins > Add New Plugin, or upload the plugin ZIP file. Then follow these steps:
Step 1: Create and connect your Telegram bot
Create a bot with @BotFather and copy its token. In WordPress, open TLC – Live chat with Telegram > Settings and paste the token into the Bot Token box.

Step 2: Save the bot token
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the Settings page.

Step 3: Connect Telegram and pair the owner account
Return to TLC – Live chat with Telegram > Settings and click Connect Telegram. After a successful connection, the plugin opens the Administrators page and creates a temporary pairing link. Open the link in Telegram using the account that should own the chat, then tap Start. This account receives the Owner role.

Step 4: Add another administrator (optional)
On the Administrators page, click Generate Pairing Link and send the link to the person you want to add. They must open it in Telegram and tap Start. Each pairing link expires after 10 minutes.

Step 5: Reply to visitor messages
Paired accounts appear in the Telegram Administrators list with their roles. Visitor messages are sent to all paired administrators. To answer a visitor, reply to that visitor’s message in Telegram.

Step 6: Customize the chat widget
Open TLC – Live chat with Telegram > Settings and edit the Widget Appearance options. Choose the corner position, colors, title and text direction, desktop and mobile dimensions, bottom spacing, and icon. Click Save Changes when you are done.

Do I need a Telegram bot?

Yes. Create one with @BotFather, then enter its token in the plugin settings.

Who becomes the Owner?

The first Telegram account that opens the owner pairing link and taps Start becomes the Owner. Other accounts you pair are Administrators.

How do I add another administrator?

Open TLC – Live chat with Telegram > Administrators, click Generate Pairing Link, and send the link to the person you want to add. The link expires after 10 minutes.

How do administrators reply to visitors?

In Telegram, use Reply on the visitor’s message. The plugin sends that reply back to the matching website chat.

Can I remove an administrator?

Yes. Click Remove next to the administrator on the Administrators page. The Owner cannot be removed there.
