You and your Telegram administrators receive those messages in Telegram and can reply there.<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Connect a Telegram bot to your website.<\/li>\n<li>Receive visitor messages in Telegram.<\/li>\n<li>Reply to visitors by replying to their messages in Telegram.<\/li>\n<li>Add more Telegram administrators.<\/li>\n<li>Customize the chat widget's colors, title, icon, size, and position.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>External Services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin uses the <a href=\"https:\/\/core.telegram.org\/bots\/api\">Telegram Bot API<\/a> to connect your bot, configure its webhook, send website chat messages to paired administrators, and receive their replies and pairing requests.<\/p>\n\n<p>When a visitor sends a message, the plugin sends the message, its conversation ID, and (when available) the page URL to Telegram. Telegram sends administrator replies and Telegram account details to the plugin's webhook so the plugin can identify the administrator and conversation.<\/p>\n\n<p>These services are provided by Telegram and are subject to <a href=\"https:\/\/telegram.org\/privacy\">Telegram's Privacy Policy<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/telegram.org\/tos\">Terms of Service<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<h3>Privacy<\/h3>\n\n<p>The plugin stores conversations and messages in your WordPress database. It uses a visitor ID stored in the visitor's browser to associate messages with a chat. The visitor's IP address may be processed temporarily to limit abuse; it is not sent to Telegram.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Telegram bot token is stored in the WordPress database and sent to Telegram to authenticate Bot API requests. Website chat messages and the page URL may be sent to the Telegram administrators as described above.<\/p>\n\n<h3>Disclaimer<\/h3>\n\n<p>TLC - Live chat with Telegram is an independent plugin. Then follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Step 1: Create and connect your Telegram bot<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Create a bot with <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/BotFather\">@BotFather<\/a> and copy its token. After a successful connection, the plugin opens the <strong>Administrators<\/strong> page and creates a temporary pairing link. Open the link in Telegram using the account that should own the chat, then tap <strong>Start<\/strong>. They must open it in Telegram and tap <strong>Start<\/strong>. Visitor messages are sent to all paired administrators. Choose the corner position, colors, title and text direction, desktop and mobile dimensions, bottom spacing, and icon.
